20 Apr 2022: World-wide Shipping Resumes
I am now able to ship outside the US using a service called Global Post, including to Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
This is a service where I send packages to a collection point in the US, then they are bundled and shipped to other countries by Global Post for customs clearance. Once customs are cleared, the local post office delivers your package.
I do not collect any taxes (VAT) or customs duties owed on international shipments. You may need to pay these before your package will be delivered.
20 Apr 2022: Problems with Credit Cards Issed by Chase
I have been having trouble getting charges to go through on credit/debit cards issued by Chase. If your credit/debit card is issued by Chase, you may want to use the "Send Paypal Invoice" option during checkout instead of a credit card option.
Shop by Appointment
We live next to the store, so are usually around during business hours, but there are times when we have doctors appointments or need to make trips into town during the day. Please call or email beforehand to make sure I will be here and am not expecting other people at the store.
You may be asked to wear a mask while in the store.
Special Orders
Some of my suppliers are operating with reduced staff, and they are also coping with the same supply chain/shipping issues as everyone else. So special ordering yarn may take a bit longer than usual. Inventory counts are now displayed for all yarn — the numbers in the computer don't always match what's on the shelf, but should be pretty close.
