Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. We do not give your personal information to any person or organization, except as required to process your order.
Use of Cookies
A "cookie" is a small data file that can be placed on your hard drive when you visit certain web sites.
Our shopping cart uses either cookies or your computer's IP address to identify you while you are using the site. No personal information is contained in the cookies used by the shopping cart.
Social media sharing links using the AddThis service are available on some pages on the site. Please note that AddThis and its affiliates may collect certain anonymous information when you visit our website. These companies may use non-personally identifiable information during your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services likely to be of greater interest to you. These companies typically use a cookie or a third party web beacon to collect this information. To learn more about this behavioral advertising practice, you can visit www.networkadvertising.org.
You can opt out of AddThis data collection at the AddThis website. You can opt out of data collection by all Network Advertising Initiative partners on the NAI website. Since your opt-out choice is recorded in a cookie, it must be done for each device & browser combination that you use and must be redone whenever all cookies are deleted.
Personal Information Protection
The shopping cart asks you for contact information (name, address, email address, etc.) and credit/debit card information. This information is stored on a secure server until your order is shipped. We may retain your contact information after your order is shipped.
To protect you from unauthorized card charges, we require a CVV2 code in addition to your card number and expiration date. For Mastercard, Visa, and Discover cards the CVV2 code is the 3-digit code located on the back of your credit card, in the signature strip. For American Express cards, the CVV2 code is the 4-digit code printed (not stamped) on the front of your card. We retain this code offline until your order is shipped. It is stored on a secure server in encrypted form for at most 24 hours.
We also use address verification during credit card processing, so the billing address you supply must match that on file for the credit card.
Our secure server has measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of your personal information. We use 128-bit SSL encryption to protect data in transit to the server. Your card information is further protected by storing it in encrypted form. We are the only people with access to our server databases.
If we have a problem processing your credit card, we will contact you via email - usually this is to double-check the expiration date and/or CVV2 code. We will never ask you to send photocopies of your credit card or personal identification such as a driver's license or passport. If you have any questions whether an email asking for information is really from us, please call us.
External Services Used in Order Processing
We process credit/debit card payments through chargeanywhere.com. In order to do this, your billing address and credit card details are supplied to chargeanywhere.com. By default, you will receive an email receipt from when we process the card that will show the exact amount charged. If you do not wish to receive this receipt, uncheck the box labeled "Email receipt when card charged" during checkout.
We generate shipping labels and postage for most orders using the Endicia service. In order to do this, your shipping address and email address are supplied to Endicia. You should receive an email confirmation via Endicia telling you a package will be shipped.
Access to Your Personal Information
If you create a user account, you can view and modify your contact information at any time by accessing the My Account page on our web site. Access to your account information is protected by a password you select.
If you forget your password, you can ask for it to be sent to the e-mail address you used to create your account. We will never give your password to anyone by any other method.
